Control of Inorganic Nutrient Elements on Plant Growth

Posted by a2karim

(Food for thought for the planting of timber plantations) **

Results of ash analysis of various crops shows that plants contain about 40 to 60 elements of the 106 elements found in nature. These elements turned out to only 16 elements required by plants with different size (dose), ie C (carbon), O (oxygen), H (hydrogen), N (netrogen or substance limp), P (phosphorus), K (potassium or cyanide), Ca (calcium or calcium oxide), S (sulfur or sulfur), Mg (magnesium), B (boron or borium), Fe (iron), Cu (copper), Mn (manganese), Zn (zinc) and Cl (chlorine). Other elements are needed with very small doses of Na (sodium), Si (silicon) and Al (aluminum).

Of the 16 elements necessary for plant growth was 3 most essential elements (main), namely N (netrogen or substance limp), P (phosphorus) and K (potassium or cyanide). While elements of lime (Ca or Mg) is not so much needed, but the presence of calcium element can be a characteristic of life in order to grow well, such as teak (Tectona grandis) and ironwood (Eusideroxylon spp).

The virtue of these three elements are essential for plant growth
1. Nitrogen (N) al: stimulate vegetative growth, increased protein content, as the materials were fat; regulate the use of elements of P and K.
2. Phosphorus (P) al: stimulates the growth of rootstock (root), stimulates the formation of new shoots; enlarge the percentage of flowers into fruit / seeds; store and release energy; as a composer cell nucleus, fat and protein.
3. Potassium (K) al: improving the quality of flowers and fruit; increased resistance to pest, disease and drought; mempecepat meristematic tissue growth; implement turgor; establish a network of amplifiers; as a catalyst; expedite the process of photosynthesis.

The chalk element is the primacy
1. Calcium (Ca) al: harden the wood and hay crops; stimulated the formation of seeds; stimulate hair growth and root tip; regulate the permeability of cell walls; lamela center of the wall-forming cell; safeguard and prevent the degree of acidity of water cells.
2. Magnesium (Mg) Al: as the material of chlorophyll; increase the oil content; activate the enzyme; usnur-regulate nutrient absorption; as a carrier of phosphorus.

Minimum Legal Liebiq ie yield is determined by the growth factors that are in minimum conditions. This law is based on the analysis of plant ash. Liebiq minimum legal formulation is described as a chain whose strength is different to each other to produce a particular production. Theoretically, this law or in a series of chain Liebiq things can still be justified. But given the nature of the living conditions and a series of chain is dead, resulting in limited (not ongoing). For example the exchange of cations between the phosphorus and potassium, the series of chain Liebiq unsuitable.

Balancing the elements of major concern is the element of fertilizer and limestone elements. Apparently in prateknya difficult to meet, since the quality and availability of the element is not always for every season. Moreover, to know exactly the reaction that occurs within tanahsetelah held or fertilizing and liming.

Display irregularities vegetative plants showed symptoms of an imbalance of elements. But from the look of these vegetative elements of what can be expected to have an imbalance. To find necessary clarity of soil analysis, network analysis or testing the use of nutrients (fertilizing and liming).
